The Vasofix ® indwelling vein cannulas, also known as braunulas, are manufactured by B.Braun and effect the new addition of medication without the need to puncture the veins again. In addition, all Vasofix ® braunulas are equipped with an injection port and a FEP-Teflon catheter. In addition, they have a cannula tip with a 3-facet ground geometry and four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips. The size of the Vasofix ® indwelling vein cannulas are variable and can be identified by a color code.
