The Vasofix ® Safety braunulas from B.Braun are very safe and easy to use thanks to a self-activating safety-clip technology
The Vasofix ® Safety braunulas from the manufacturer B.Braun, which are also known as safety intravenous cannulas, have a special, self-activating safety clip technology, which secures the needle tip immediately after withdrawal, so that the risk of a needle stick injury is significantly reduced. All Vasofix ® braunulas, and thus also the Safety needles, are equipped with an injection port and an FEP-Teflon catheter and also have a cannula tip with the 3-facet ground geometry and four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips. The size of the safety intravenous catheters can be selected as required and is identified by a color-coded code.
