The Mini-Spike ® withdrawal / injection cannula is a product developed by the manufacturer B.Braun for the precise dosing of medications during an infusion therapy. Thus, the Mini-Spike ® considerably simplifies both the withdrawal and the addition of medications. An ideal pressure balance also ensures bubble-free drawing up of the medication. The Mini-Spike ® withdrawal / injection cannula has a 0.45 µm venting filter. This reduces the risk of contamination of the medications by the integrated valve closing the flow channel after removal of the syringe.
